We have always known that biscuits are more than just a treat—they are a way to connect, to show you care, and to make someone feel truly valued. That’s why we have set ourselves an exciting goal:

Make 5 million people feel appreciated, using the UK’s favourite treat—biscuits!

Biscuits That Mean More

We bang the drum about appreciation because, we believe in the words of W. James who said: "The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated."

And we know from years and years of experience, that our biscuits are vessels for human connection. Sure, biscuits are delicious (ours especially!), but they are also so much more.

They offer:

🤗 A canvas for your words & imagery

✨ A reason to pause and reflect for the recipient

👯 A moment to share with someone else

Whether it’s a thoughtful gift for a colleague, a surprise for a loved one, or just a way to say “I see you,” our biscuits are baked uniquely to help you build stronger, more meaningful connections.

Why we care so much about the little things

We are big believers in the power of small gestures.

A heartfelt thank-you or an unexpected gift can mean the world to someone—and it’s those little moments that strengthen relationships. At The Biskery, we understand the impact of an unreasonable level of attention to the small things that deepen relationships.

For businesses, this could mean showing your team or clients how much they matter with a thoughtful and personalised biscuit. For individuals, it might be celebrating life’s milestones or simply making someone smile on an ordinary day. Whatever the reason, we are here to help you make it special.

A Mission Rooted in Kindness

Our journey started with our two co-founders,  Saskia Roskam & Lisa Shepherd, who were missing the flavours of home (The Netherlands & Germany) and dreaming of a better work-life balance as they were mums to young children. But as The Biskery grew, they realised their mission was about so much more than biscuits—it was about spreading kindness, appreciation and connection in biscuit form.

In addition, they have made sustainability and quality non-negotiable. That is why their award-winning biscuits come in eco-friendly packaging and are made using high-quality ingredients. Lisa and Saskia are building a business that reflects the values they care about most. And this includes family-friendly employment opportunities.
